Fujifilm FinePix S2 Pro review

it always takes awhile to really learn to use a camera. I have held off on my review untill I had fully tested the camera. The most remarkable aspect of the camera is the image quality using the 12 meg RAW mode. Noise simply doesn't exist at lower ISOs and is minimal even at ISO 1600. Amazing! The resolution, on 13 x 19 prints, exceeds that which I am used to with Velvia and Provia 100. Best of all chromatic abberation (normally a factor of lens design) simply goes away. Comparing a pair of jpg and raw files I was blown away. No red or green borders - anywhere. Repeated the test on subjevts which normally show this artifact. Lastly, the S-2 is user friendly. No hidden menus (well maybe a few)!!!
