Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P71 review

I like the camera. But.... (read the "Problems" section)

Problems:

But, Sony is really bad in service. I was using my camera one day and turned the power off for a couple minutes after taking 50 pics. When I started the camera again, the zoom lens started moving in and out. And it hasn't stopped since. I called Sony and asked if they would fix it for me cause the camera was still under warranty and they said that they will charge me $170 anyways (I can get another camera with almost same features for $200). And then I tried to send it thru Ritz camera and got the same reply. The Sony service centers around where I live don't take digital cameras for service. So, I have been running around for the last 6 months to get the camera fixed. Now the warranty is out and I can't do anything about it. Sony is really bad. I wouldn't buy any Sony product just because of this experience.
