Panasonic Lumix DMC-LC20 review
I've owned this camera since Christmas 2002 & have taken 5,000+ images. About 90% of them came out "Great". The rest were easily edited in one of my many software programs (IrfanView & DCEnhacer are my favorite & FREE).
It does under & overexpose sometimes, but what camera does'nt? It has a hard time focusing accurately in dim light, but so did my Canon A40 with a "focus assist lamp". Put it in "landcape" mode, if you can't get a focus "lock" (it also works MUCH faster, shot to shot, in that mode).
The camera actually looks & feels like a "camera". Very easy to use once you get the hang of it.
It auto focuses 2-3 sec. before it fires in 10 sec. timer mode, someone mentioned that it did'nt in an earlier review.
Image color saturation is perfect, very natural. Image quality is excellent for it's class. Best "macro" mode I've seen (I've owned Canon, Sony, Kodak, Olympus & Agfa).
Now, let's see if it lasts another 5,000 clicks.
The new LC33 ($299) is supposedly even better!!!
Hope this helps!
NOT ONE & I actually like the battery/SD card door, just don't treat it like a Bumble Ball, LOL!
