Olympus C-5050 Zoom review

after 50000 shots made in 10 month, i can submit a more accurate opinion on the 5050

allthough, i had to read specialised books of photo techniques, in order to succed in balancing the intimate relation with the camera

after setting the image parameters according to phil askey's and wrotniak's recomandations, and also after i learned how to quick control the camera (in time), according to the different situations requirements, i can say that i managed to obtain the best results;

and the results respond now to my initial expectations

very nice color balance and sharp image;
the noise is no more visible compared to other cameras; i must recognise that i'm fixed on the iso64 setting

the printed images looks even better than on screen; i was very pleased to notice that (i had some proffesional presentations to do, as an architect)

i can say i have full confiance in the 5050 capabilities; i must admit that the photographer must know very well to communicate with it, for best results; the full auto mode is not very trusty in all situations - i use it to have an idea about the primary interpretation of the environment - and that is the point that the art of photography begins

in three words : sobriety, discretion, trusty

excelent camera construction - can go from 0 altitude to >1000, from the black sea to the atlantic, on winter or summer; amazing!

Problems:

the zig-zag effect on diagonal lines is the only one incovenient that still remains visible
