Olympus C-8080 Wide Zoom review

After owning this camera for almost 1 1/2 years I am less happy with it. My biggest gripe is the inability to focus in low light situations. In low light the focus is very slow, and often wrong leading to many out of focus pictures.
When the camera does focus the pictures are great.

Great camera. I got it to replace my E-100RS. The automatic exposures are almost always perfect. Works great with my FL-40 strobe. The camera is very fast with very minimal shutter lag. Focus is fast and accurate and the adjustibility would take many months to completely explore.

I am unimpressed by the write times to the CF. I bought a 2GB SanDisk Ultra, however a 4GB microdrive proabaly would have been a better buy since the camera does not take full advatange of the CF speed. It is fast, but not full speed.

You can not go back to signle shot mode from braceting of drive until the buffer has been completley written to the CF card.
