Sigma SD10 review

This camera is a delight. It builds upon the image quality of the earlier SD9 by increasing the dynamic range and providing better noise performance at higher ISO. My wife Nancy and I use both the SD9 and SD10, but after a little more than a year with the SD10 (and now over 9000 SD10 images) we both reach for the SD10 first. She likes to take handheld macros of flowers and iso200 works well for her. I chase high contrast landscapes and the increased dynamic range helps me. And just as with the SD9, the images the SD10 produces have a verisimilitude, a sense of “being there,” that we and others love to see. We have had more fun taking pictures with this camera than we have had in years.

Problems:

As with the SD9, I occasionally outrun the buffer.
