Sigma SD10 review
This is my first DSLR and my second camera ever. My previous camera was Fuji S5000. I was a bit worried about the size of Sigma because my Fuji was quite small but size is not an issue. This camera is very comfortable to hold and all functions are accessible with knobs and buttons.
Image quality and dynamic range is incredible even with cheap kit lens. I can squeeze very bright clouds and shadowed foreground in same pictures without under- or overexposure. I needed two shot to do that with my Fuji.
I got my SD10 with kit lens under 500 euros. At this price the value for money is unbeatable!
Problems:
- Slow write times even with fast card
- My AA batteries only last for 60 shots. CR-V3 are reported to get around 300 shots but I haven't yet tried them
- This camera eats up all my free time (and more) which is quite annoying
