Sigma SD9 review

The image quality of this camera is unsurpassed at present by any other brand. It is very easy to use comparable to a film camera and even easier because you don't need to load film. The features are basic almost spartan with a slight erratic auto focus and not outstanding light measuring system. Overall unbeatable value for money.

Problems:

Power supply, too many options and none ideal. It lacks a dedicated Li On battery (the RCRV3 are just a remedial situation with to many "bits" to be carried). At present I use the power pack with NiMH batteries which lasts forever +1,000 shots per charge but I have to carry a lot of a "brick" around my neck.
