Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z20 review

I bought this camera for my wife from the Cdn Shopping Channel. I liked everything about the camera...the 12x telephoto, I.S. large LCD and the EVF was a plus. Also has the histogram. But it also had two shutter leaves that closed off the LCD when moving the lever to go to the EVF. There would be a loud 'clunk' every time the lever was moved to change over from the LCD to EVF and back again when needed.

Needless to say, took it to Marineland and after shooting about 35 photos with the camera the shutter leaves over the LCD refused to move when I tried to go to EVF.

As above. Why did K.M. put shutter leaves in the LCD rather than just a simple push button to change from one to the other? The body of the camera is a cheap looking junky plastic material and connecting the USB cable to the camera is a chore in itself. Not an easy task.

I would not recommend this camera to anyone until K.M. fixes this problem and get's rid of the shutter curtains in the LCD.
