Kodak EasyShare P850 review

I only gave a 4 for ease of use - because to get the best image quality, you're going to have to move beyond the Auto mode and learn the camera's capabilities. Feature-wise this camera has just about everything you could want, except for a lens shade. Come on Kodak - you put one on the P880! Good macro pictures take a little practice in aperture-priority mode, and depends a lot on the lighting conditions. Controls and menu operation are very good, and you soon learn the button positioning without having to look for them. Overall this is an excellent camera IMHO, but I don't think I'd recommend the P850 as a first time camera. The more pictures I take, the better the output becomes.

Problems:

Some filters will cause vignetting with the lens adapter at full wide.
