Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D (Dynax 5D) review

I am new to digital photography but have owned a Minolta SLR for many years. The main reason I bought this camera after trying to decide between the Nikon D70s or Canon was that my telephoto Sigma lens would work with the camera, which made it cheaper than buying the Nikon with two lenses. I love the camera - it is so easy to use and the prints on my HP 7210 printer are awesome compared to my old SLR. I like the weight and feel of the camera - the 7D was far too heavy and expensive, so I had written that off. I really like the 18-70 that came with it too and my telephoto works great. Also the battery life is awesome. I charged the battery when I got the camera two weeks ago and have taken over 300 shots and its still working. i also got a kit with a spare battery and 1 gig card so I am in good shape. I think the instruction manual was great and easy to read.

Problems:

The camera came with Diimage software that I don't like and I am going to get Paint Shop Pro to edit my pictures.
It's had to see the LCD screen outside in the sunlight - guess its the same with all digital cameras
