Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D (Alpha-7 Digital / Dynax 7D) review

Excellent D-SLR. Very easy to use and well balanced. Its hard not like this camera. You can control everything and get great results every time. I like the ability to control mostly everything you need to take great shots through nobs and not a menu. The grip fits my hands well, much better than the 20D or D70s.

My first camera was a Canon AE-1 program which I loved 20 years ago. This camera brings me the feel and allows me to set things manually, the way I use to. It has depth-of-field preview and other features that the others do not. Too bad canon could not think of this set up or put it too use, in terms of manual control knobs.

The 2.5" LCD is a plus.

I looked at canon, nikon, and pentax and no doubt I made a wrong decision. Quality of build, size and fit in my hands, large screen, excellent quality photos, feature packed and anti'shake make this a winner for me.

Oh ya, you can buy every accessory you can think of for this camera, like remote cable, vertical grip, macro flashes, external battery pack, body cap, and others.

I have had my camera for 4 months now since Nov05 and have not had the back focus problem. I feel fortunate. I do have only two lens, none of them an off brand. I am planning to buy a sigma 17-35 EX and will see if that has problems
