Casio Exilim EX-Z750 review

My mini-review can sort of be summed up in two words:

Cracked LCD.

Now, if you look through the forum you'll find people who have had their LCD
mysteriously crack, and skeptics who insist we must be doing something to
cause it.

I'll admit to what I've done: it's called -normal use-. The camera was not dropped,
kicked, bent, folded, or mutilated - the LCD simply cannot be up to snuff.

That said, it's a sad story, because aside from that issue, and limited aperture
control in manual, I just love the camera. As I've mentioned elsewhere, we took it
to Disney and it felt like one of the family. I grew to love the camera. While not up
to the level of the D70 it complemented, it did very well, and the video mode was
really nice.

Oh, and the viewfinder is kind of pathetic.

Unfortunately, the LCD issue, for us, made the camera a return and we are now
searching for another.

To recap, the LCD simply isn't up to snuff. There is no question in my mind that it
simply is not manufactured well - or, at least, the plastic lens over the LCD must
be woefully inadequate or something.
