Konica Minolta Maxxum 7D (Alpha-7 Digital / Dynax 7D) review
I bought this camera after months of consideration and it was the best buy I ever made in photo gear. Image quality is excellent, resolution is amazing and the kit lens 18-70DT is very sharp. AS is a great bonus and works very well.Get the battery grip with it and you will have a true photographer's camera for much less than 1000GBP!!! Features are abundant and everything about the camera is logically made.Very responsive camera too!!
*Update 10/01/07:
My opinion remains unchanged. If you are a megapixel jockey, you are losing no only one hell of a camera but also if you are not printing over A3, there is no reason to go over 6MP.
Accessories are easy to find, I currently have a T2 mount and some other bits. Some have reported that the switch for Manual Focus mode is awkward I personally think it couldn't be any simpler with a mere slide if the thumb you enable or disable MF/AF, not ony that you can set that button to toggle the mode on the fly.
After many photos taken and sold and a few weddings done with it I am more than happy with this camera. Very natural reproduction of skin tones, colours are balanced and easily toned up without overtoning some. Overall very sharp images, furthermore I am not afraid of using ISO3200 when necessary.
Wireless FP flash with Sigma EF DG Super another boon, if you cant get a Minolta 5600HS.
Problems:
None so far and I dont believe Ill find any either!!!!

With my warranty running out, I am looking at costly overseas repairs if anything happens. My camera was sent to Germany for 6 weeks to simply re-glue the rubber thumb pad.
Apart from that none whatsoever.
