Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D (Dynax 5D) review

Hi

I've bought my Dynax 5D 15 days ago and I'm very happy with it. I haven't tested it intensively yet, but my opinion is very good.

My last camera was my beloved Minolta Dimage S304.
My father's has a old, but reliable Dynax 5000i with the fallowing lens a 50mm 1.7, zoom 75-300mm, and a tamrom 24-70mm.

So I waited for an affordable DSLR from KM. When I reed the specs I felt in love and waited a little longer so the price was a bit lower.

Image
Fantastic colours and sharpness.

Body
Good grip
Central button feels quite cheap
Quite solid for a plastic body

Lens
Very good for a kit lens
It’s a pity that the kit lens doesn’t work on a film SLR

Features
Fantastic AS

SUM
5/5
Very happy

Problems:

Battery price (in Portugal a np-400 costs 120 Eur, in the states the cost is 44Usd!!!)
No possibility to attach battery grip as in the 7D

6 megapixels • 2.5 screen • APS-C sensor
