Pentax Optio S6 review
I bought the camera because I own a Pentax Optio S (3.2 mp). The 3.2 has a very small LED--so small you cannot make out details. So when I saw the screen size of the S6 I was delighted. The controls are larger and easier to use, and it seems to ramp up much more quickly.
The key problem with this camera is that the viewing screen. Although large, it totally fades out in moderately bright light. I took the camera on 2 trips to Whistler and was unable to use it because I could not see the image. The 3.2 has a range/view finder; the S6 does not.
I am returning the camera to Costco because of the fatal flaw.
