Kodak EasyShare V570 review

I was looking for a wide angle-lens accessory for my DX6490 and I was also tempted to pick up a simple compact camera to just carry around with me everywhere. Kodak basically offered me a two-in-one package of what I wanted exactly and I just took it.

The V570 comes in a small, attractive, metal frame. Big and bright LCD almost makes you forget about the missing viewfinder.

Dual lens system works great, even better if you turn off the digital zoom.

Wide-angle lens can cram so much more in and the panorama mode is awesome and surprisingly easy to use. Almost worth the full price for those two features alone.

Low-light situations can give you grainy pictures. Flash is no help unless only a few feet from what you are shooting at.

Taking burst shots reveal slow buffer.

Eats batteries like mad. Get a spare one!

Forced to use included camera dock for charing batteries, displaying on a TV or transfering photos to the computer.
