Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D (Dynax 5D) review

It's a great body with average kit lens. And I can say it after a long time using of Canon EOS300 and PowerShot G3, KM A2 and two month with KM 5D. The RAW format is strongly recommended for KM because of strong adaptive noise reduction in Jpeg from ISO200 loses details. I shot mostly with +1/3 exposure for right brightness. AntiShake has it's own limits but works great. KM has good autofocus response, large and bright viewfinder comparing to EOS350D. The kit lens 18-70 is too smooth at f=3.5, and one step down to f=5.6 as working apperture at wide end, and f=8 at telephoto. SIGMA AF 24-70/2.8 EX DG Macro lens may be the interesting solution for this body.

Problems:

There is no LZW compression for RAW images.. Some chromatic abberations and smoth at wide open at kit lens.
