Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6 review

I've had my Z6 for a week and I love everything about it. I sold my Panasonic LC-43 because I never liked the photos, especially in low light. With my Z6, my low light shots are now excellent. In fact, I can take pictures in my living room in the evening without the use of the flash. It focuses fast and the colours are crisp and bright.
The camera powers up very quickly. I have had no problems with the focus at full zoom or at super macro.
I've taken almost 600 pictures and I'm still on the same set of 2500mAh batteries. The indicator shows low power, but it's still going strong. I can see this camera meeting my family's needs for a long time, even allowing us to experiment with more advanced features. Oh yes, and I only paid $300 Canadian for this camera, so as far as I'm concerened, it has and will continue to be a great value!

Problems:

The only problem has been with the "puple haze" effect in the viewfinder under very bright outdoor sunlight. This is only a minor annoyance though, because the pictures still turn out great, and I plan to get a hood.
