Konica Minolta DiMAGE Z6 review

wow surprised with this camera. I didnt expect this to be this good but after more use I am starting to see some problems.I really really thought about this review because it was full of contradictions.. I had heard the problems with this maybe being last camera and low price before I tried it out but truthfully it surprised me because of its great focus . Ok sharp focus, surprised me cause the Lcd had a little bit more fuzzy shot look then I liked, so I was prepared to return it and ultimately did return it with some regrets but it was definitely not because of the focus which was probably better then most cameras I ever had.especially from afar using their stablizer..If you like telephoto shots with good stablizer this is it. A good bang for your buck. The plusses? Good control of camera with settings, great focus afar, more then I expected. Unfortunately this always happens, there are tradeoffs.Usually when I get a camera with great focus , I usually get problems with other things, and this camera is no exception. This reminds me of the fuji 3800 with more zoom and megapixels. For the price, one can easily rationalize this a winner.I can just imagine the camera makers talking to themselves about how picky people are , considering all the work that had to be done putting this fine camera into production. The competition makes these after thoughts not really important though, but I must give credit to Minolta for making a cheap megapixel long zoom camera with anti shake , most of the world would appreciate to own.

Problems:

It doesn't have the vibrant color of a sony, and this is important: because good color should be expected, and the resolution seems drab. Once your use to those things from other newer cameras, this just pales . More problems: from 20 to 40 feet this camera can't quite get a great photo outside ( low color too much wide angle but its a weak point none the less). Poor indoor low light sometimes with green off color tnt killed it for me drats.. If not for poor tint indoor I might have kept it..It can't be perfect, but this thing zooms real good. I definitely recommend this for a reliable digital camera though that can take some fantastic shots, with good focus and very responsive with custom controls..I was able to get action shots from afar. Four batteries needed is a negative unless you have allot of batteries handy. The four double AAs needed makes the camera a bit too bulky and clumsy for me and when the tradeoffs are considered I took it back and oh it had slow buffer . It would be a good buy for someone less demanding
