Ricoh Caplio RX review
Fine little camera. Very compact, very lightweight.
Big pros: 28 mm equiv. wide-angle, very short shutter lag, macro focus down to 1 cm.
Optical VF is nice to have, even if it crops heavily in this case.
Very long battery life with decent AA rechargeables (2000 mAh+).
Straightforward user interfaces, Adj button makes improtant settings easily available.
Flash weak and with small range of adjustment, tends to burn close-up shots and get unnoticeable from 2 m on. Recharge is slow, too.
Not-too-bad blue cast on outdoor shots in overcast weather, can easiliy be overcome by switching WB to "cloudy".
