Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D (Dynax 5D) review

I bought this camera 6 months ago, and planned to use it alongside my Olympus
c-8080. It feels very good in the hand, despite it's small size, and the handling is very
intuitive. That's about all I can say that's good about it.

Problems:

The Auto focus becomes non respnsive after about 3 shots, requiring me to
shutdown the camera, then start it up again. This happens continiuosly, and is a
real pain

The viewfinder is too small, and the readout hard to read

The supplied 18-70 lens is useless. Very soft at the edges throughout the range,
and loads of distortion

Pictures don't look 'clean', but have a roughness about them, and are not at all
sharp. This become more obvious at a print size larger than 6" by 4", and a print
done to 13" by 19", just looks awful

Highlights are often totally blown out, with no definition

I can't recommend this camera
