Panasonic Lumix DMC-LS2 review

The little Panny is my first digital camera after the delights of an Olympus OM2SP. And
the new pocket sized electronic beauty is a belter! Though my hands are huge, I had
no problems adjusting the Mode Dial atop of the camera. A logical layout, couped with
a sharp (but small) screen , make for an easy operating experience. My photos, a
mixture of Point & Shoot and some Maco work were sharp and colourfull. The Mega
OIS Stabaliser taking care of any shaky hand problems My Mac SE, running Tiger,
had no problems 'seeing' the attached camera, and connecting it (via the supplied
lead) to my TV was a snap.

The instruction book is a shocker! It reads like a computer translation of Japanese into
English. Some directions make no sense, and others are just plain weird - such as
Page 81 Playing Back Pictures - "Motion pictures cannot be played back. To play
back motion pictures, connect the camera to the TV' (WHAT?)

The extras in the box are a bit mean (no case or card)
