Konica Minolta Maxxum 5D (Dynax 5D) review

I acquired this camera 6 months ago, and I must say, I am a very happy with it.

With appropriate lenses (e.g. Sigma 17-70f2.8-4.5), the image quality is amply sufficient to make excellent A4 prints and very good A3 ones.

The Anti Shake is a simply a stunning feature, that cannot be equaled by any other camera (save the 7D) when used in combination with a fast lens (50mmf1.7). This together with good high iso noise levels makes it a unique combination for candle light shooting.

The interface is very user friendly, typical of Minolta's ergonomy. I am a glass wearer, and the viewfinder, if not perfect, is much better than the competition, with much less of a "peephole" impression.

The only slight negative point is that the camera autofocus is a bit noisy as is the shutter release.

Problems:

None so far.
