Nikon D2X review

I owned a D200 and really loved it. For its price, it was really unbeatable. Then came the opportunity to purchase a D2X... didn't think there was much to improve over the D200.

It was not a day against night kind of improvement... but there were improvements in several key areas.... Better built (D200 had a flimsy plastic battery grip), better autofocus, high speed crop mode is useful sometimes, much better battery etc... The pictures also had a different kind of feel (not that the D200 was bad) probably due to the CMOS sensor?

After using the D2X for a while, I felt comfortable enough to conclude that I do not need the D200 anymore (not using anymore), so I sold it.

Though expensive, if you want that little bit extra over the D200, the D2X is it.

None so far.
