Canon PowerShot A710 IS review

Wonderful components in a boring package - Clean sensor, smart imaging processor, reasonably sharp standard-tele stabilized lens, with full manual controls and nice stabilized movies captured in AVI format.

My only camera during my last trip to India - Did well shooting stills and videos under a variety of conditions. Nice optics. Pics tended to be a lot flatter and somewhat overexposed perhaps, but acceptable nonetheless.

While shooting the Taj Mahal at sunset, I ran out of batteries - Being able to buy some alkaline AAs at the gift shop and keep shooting was a life-saver!
