Kodak EasyShare C643 review
I bought this camera for my wife four months ago, but I used it on and off for extended periods in between (including one overseas trip of two weeks). For the price I paid (AUD 199, which is roughly USD 155) , I feel I got excellent value for money (if there was any rating higher than "excellent" I would gladly have given it for "value for money"! It is simple to use, with basic features and it produces very good pictures in most siturations. The instruction manual is easy to understand, and I would strongly recommend it for any beginner. I especially liked the fact that it uses AA cells, and that it has a dedicated "review" button.
No image stabilsing ability, so some pictures have to be discarded. But, what the hell, I feel not having IS is a good thing for beginners and rank amateurs, so that they can learn something about the art of photography!
