Canon PowerShot A630 review
Have had the camera for about four months and have taken about 500 shots. I was generally satisfied with image quality and ease of use. Wanted small, fairly rugged camera for use on hikes etc. so from outward appearance (metal body) A630 seemed to fit the bill.
However encounter what I think is a version of the dreaded E18 error that a Google search shows is found with many Canon point-and- shoot cameras. Camera was not dropped or abused. It has riddden in its case in my knapsack on walks etc. Camera is still under warranty so will find out how good customer service is.
Camera no longer functioning. While out on a walk got "lens error". Lens wouldn't extend and camera is essentially useless.
