Pentax Optio M20 review
I bought this camera because I wanted a cheap digicam that could take a half decent picture and also had good video functions, and this is the one!
Battery life is outstanding. No idea really how many shots it might take, but 500 plus is a good guess, possibly the best of ANY digicam out there.
Having tested the camera at the shop, I found the video mode was good, with silent zoom, good sound, sharp and the digital anti shake works well.
However, and this isn't written in the review on Stevesdigicams, the video zoom is only the digital zoom, not optical! This is also the case with the super macro mode.
The face detection system works occasionally, but isn't really necessary, as in other modes, it will lock on to a face just as easily and quickly.
But for the money, about $150, I really can't complain.
