Samsung S730 review

Don't believe all the praise, the truth remains, it is an underdog brand.
Proved once again, if you want to get quality stick with Nikon or Canon.
Pana, Pentax, Samsung, Kodak, HP, Fuji...
They all offer the same, excellent set of functions with mediocre image quality.
Very limited dynamic range, hurrible white balance, noisy images that require a lot of post processing time.
Full of color controls that do very little, which makes it useless.
Excellent screen that you can't trust, images alwasy look excellent on the LCD but hurrible on the computer.

Instead, I would recommend the Nikon L11, very limited function set, but unbeliable image quality and remarkable color balance under any lighting conditions.

I don't like cameras that house the memory card with the batteries.
This camera eats any type of batteries very quickly, very bad power manangement.
The mode dial is too loose and it rotates when putting on a small camera back,.
Camera WB is hurrible.
