Fujifilm FinePix S8000fd review

Good all round camera. Easy to use with great in-camera help notes. Wife and I very pleased with all of the photographic results so far. Greater range of ISO and the introduction of Image stabilization means more successful quality shots in low light. Love the 18x optical zoom.

Overall construction is excellent, but I downgraded this mark because their were a few things I was disappointed with that were not included in this package. I list them below just for the record.

Besides all my negatives it is still a great camera. Well worth the investment for any amateur enthusiast.

No Raw mode. LCD screen is very difficult to read in daylight. EVF just a trifle small for someone wearing glasses. No protection for moving lenses which can be an irritation for novice users at times. As yet no provision for additional filters. A push on UV and polarized lens would be two most useful accessories for this camera
