Nikon D2Hs review
I shoot weddings and portraits and events and have used D70, D200, D1x, and a
The D2hs is the best all round camera of them all. I LOVE my D2x, it has fantastic
image quality at ISO100 and the ability to crop is great, but the D2Hs is everything
the D2x is, without the massive ability to crop and WITH superb quality at higher
ISOs. I have been using mine for about 5 months now and regularly use is up to
ISO 1600 and get fantastic results.
Other top points for me are: Superb fast AF which works in the dark, great handling
(very important to me, I love the way the D2 cameras handle), fast operation and
massive buffer (the camera is ALWAYS ready to take another shot for me), great
value (no-one wants a 4mp cam, but this camera is a well kept secret!).
I print for clients up to 12 x 16 with images from this camera which look great.
Most of my prints are much smaller, preview albums are 6x4, weddings albums are
10x8 all of which the D2Hs can easily handle.
Lastly, I love how the smaller files just fly on my computer and software. I can
review and edits hundreds of shots in half the time compared to my D2x files.
None, flawless so far, built like a tank.
