Samsung L100 review
I bought the L100 as backup for my Pentax DSLR, mainly to shoot little impromptu movies of my kids. This proved to be a very capable little camera, although the control setup is non-intuitive. All in all a very good little machine, fast and light with great battery life, ability to set manual aperture and shutter (not priority mode however) and a reasonable antishake mode. If you don't care about the movie mode (see below), buy this camera.
Unfortunately the movie mode is woeful because of a glaring design flaw - the microphone is in the top of the camera, so nothing the subjects say can be heard unless they shout. Every movement of your fingers on the controls can be heard loud and clear though
