Canon PowerShot A720 IS review

This camera contains most of the features an amateur photographer may need, like 6x zoom, manual controls, IS, optical viewfinder, video quality, AA batteries. There are other aspects that are not so special, such as its somehow bulky size, lack of some information in the display, or the low pixel monitor, but in general, its advantages exceed its disadvantages by far.
It may be easily used as a decent general purpose camera, if somebody does not like to carry a lot of gear.
Picture quality is great, especially in daylight. It also enables its user to apply image settings in-camera, thus avoiding post-processing if he/she does not like to do so.

Problems:

Problems: Weak flash, small sensor size resulting in noisy pictures in low light, low quality construction materials.

Tips: Treat it carefully, always carry an extra pair of recharged batteries, (a soft pouch is a good solution for these) and, if possible, try to use CHDK.
