Sigma DP1 review

I have own Canon DSLR from XT to 1Ds, Pentax
DSLRs, Olympus DSLR, Panasonic L1 and serious
compact like Canon G, Leica Digilux and Ricoh GR, GX
stuff etc etc, and I feel interested to get a compact
camera body with DSLR heart. Here is the DP1!!

It make the dream come true as a "pocketable DSLR"!!

The beauty of the DP1 is having a APS-C size sensor
with high image quality and output as a DSLR.
Very nice color output, But too bad these are the only
beauty of this camera

But may I give out a bit of fair negative comment to
tell the truth of as below.

Problems:

I compared the DP1 with my other cameras, I ve
found the following problems that I can rate the DP1
as alooser to my other cameras

1) The camera is soooooooo slow in focus (almost any
compact camera can focus faster than it)
2) It takes long time to write file in to the card.
3)Very slow lens of F4, which most Lumix, Canon G,
Ricoh have F2.8 instead, and it is the shame to the
prime lens.
4) very dark LCD.

If compare the ease of use, construction & features,
this is the looser to GR, Canon G.

But is you compare the size, image quality and the
sensor, it is a truly a great winner
