Pentax K10D review
I made the switch from Canon at the end of 2008.
The K10d is my first digital SLR.
I bought the kit including the 18-55 lens, which is a good lens, especially in daylight, for a bargain price.
It took me some time to get used to the controls, not saying it's a difficult camera to use, but it was my first digital slr.
It was actually a joy to play around with it. The features are extensive.
I bought the Magic Lantern guide also.
The construction is fantastic! Very solid, and Pentax makes the best looking cameras imo.
Weather sealing and Shake Reduction work great, and were important for me.
I'm slowly buying myself into Pentax, and the lenses are far cheaper than Canon/Nikon.
Also with Shake Reduction built into the K10D, I don't have to worry about saving up for an expensive lens just to get this feature.
Easy to see why this camera has won so many awards.
