Canon PowerShot SX10 IS review

Thanks to DPreview on the comparison on the noise factor between SX1,SX10 and EOS1000 on the ISO 80 setting, this has convince to choose this camera.

Bought this SX10 few days back Have taken >500 picture on it

-Swing-flip LCD, I like to use the view finder and fliped LCD to close position, this help to keep the screen clean from my oily face. The LCD helps alot while take super marcro picture on flower where your neck not require to bend down.

-Button location: all are at the finger tips
-The video button are the best!!! which not require to rotate the dial selection like the others camera.
-Image quality not the best I seen but accepatble for this non SLR camera.
-Many choise of color selection
-I like the I-contras, save me on the time to adjust the exposure lock.
-4 AA battery and long bettery life ( Thanks canon !!)
-Better light assist focus compare to OLy
-Movie on 30 fps are excellent.
-Focus check option - really love this option.
-Panorama option

Don't like

-The feel of the grip, Canon shouldput some friction at that location.
- heavy and bulky
- the hood are not relly tigh secure
- Noise in ISO200 above
Over all, this this a fun camera to play with while not bring out the extra lence for zoom and marco for SLR
