Canon EOS 500D (EOS Kiss Digital X3 / EOS Rebel T1i) review
Canon EOS 500D (EOS Kiss Digital X3 / EOS Rebel T1i) review
I bought this camera and is my first DSLR. The 18-55mm kit lens is not upto the mark. I have the Battery grip, 480EXII Speedlite and a 70-300mm IS USM. I would be going for the 10-22mm wide angle which on this cropped sensor would be 16-35mm. I personally find it to be an excellent camera. Well everything depends on the person who is behind the shot. I didnt find any problems regarding noise. Found it a little soft, but can adjust the sharpness before the shot. I get good portraits out of it by using the 70-300mm. Bokeh is good. Waiting to get the 10-22mm to take some landscape pics. http://www.dpreview.com/galleries/2503472360/photos
Problems:
Except the hand grip on the body is little uncomfortable. Attached the battery grip and it feels like a pro slr now.
Kit lens not upto the mark. Pics with the 480EXII attached makes a lot of difference, especially while using the bounce.
15 megapixels • 3″ screen • APS-C sensor
