I've been using this lens for mainly shooting under streetlights for a few years now, with both an Olympus e-510 and an e-30. The image quality is breathtaking. Zero noticable distortion or vignetting. If the lens has any drawback it is that it's a little slow to lock on a focus at f1.4, as it hunts around a bit in autofocus mode. The Sigma 50mm f1.4 that I sometimes use as an alternate seems to focus a bit quicker, but not by too much. Then again, I'm frequently taking photos with a DOF of around 6", so some focus hunting is to be expected. The lens is pricey, but worth every penny, in my book.
