Bitter taste

Coming from a Fujifilm bridge and a few film cameras, which all could focus the cutting edge of a sword either manually or automatically, my biggest gripe about this camera body is the lack of more focus points. Having only seven makes auto-focusing a trial and error process, and without the focusing lens found in some of my older film cameras, i find manual focusing on this canon just as chalenging as the auto mode. don't get me wrong, i love the camera! the color palette is more realistic that my previous bridge, the control of the photographic process has a better feel to it, but seeing that you achieved focus at the wrong distance when you can't do anything about it is painfull.

as a secondary point, the lack of video recording is not a problem, when i'll need it i'll just buy a dedicated tool for it.

Problems:

Cons: some problems focusing right. Either switch to manual or shoot something else.
