Too much of a good thing

I'm giving it 4 stars because a) I don't use my SLR for video and have no idea why anyone would want to, and b) there are too many wheels, dials, buttons, and options. Full auto, a couple of program modes, then full manual would just about do it for me. And the T2i has that ... along with a lot of other junk.

I would switch to a top-of-the-line Canon SLR, except I have small hands and the T2i fits me better. And, yes, it has most of the manual features I want. And, no, I don't want to spend several thousand dollars.

I'm an old-school, film, prosumer kind of shooter. I use the T2i for general photography with a 28-105mm lens for my day-to-day shooting (this gives me 45-168mm, which is fine). I use a 100mm macro for, well, macro work. I have a separate camera with a 28mm lens if I'm in a wide frame of mind.

Bottom line is the T2i with the 28-105mm is my tool of choice. If only it didn't have all those **** buttons!
