Perfect work camera
I use this camera while we construct loghomes and sauna's. (www.whitehorse.be) As we always work outside with chainsaws an oil, i needed a camera that would match my pocket and was easy to shoot with and wash it clean.
For my job, it needed to be waterproof and shockproof also. I really love it. I remember the times I used my LX3 and had to put it every time back in the box to keep it dry.
A very nice feature is that you can can set timelapse. In my case, it is fun to do while you work on a log. With a step of 30", you can see the result being created without somebody to hold the camera.
An other nice feature is it's GPS. We do put our cabines at places far away for the street, into the wood. It's nice to be able to take pictures that can locate the cabine afterwards.
I also changed the splashscreen to my businesscard, so if it would be found, people could find me, to return the camera.
The image quality is not like the LX3 of course.
