Nice lens, but not quite as good as I was expecting

I agree with most everything NZ Scott has to say. It's a nice little prime lens that I use mostly for landscapes, and it's perfect for that use. It has the m43 tiny size advantage that got me to switch from my DSLR in the first place.

However, it's not as sharp as the 45mm, which was of some disappointment, and I think the premium price is too much. Also, I see more distortion then I was expecting, wihich is somewhat automatically corrected in LR4, and I assume in-camera jpegs, but still, If I have people on the edge of the frame, they can look a bit contorted, but overall not a huge problem with landscape shooting. Also, for this price a lens hood and pouch should be standard. Now that the pany 12-35 zoom is available, I find myself wondering if that isn't a better option, but it's even more expensive.

Don't get me wrong though, it does take nice pics, and there's not another m43 wide prime lens, and if you want the m43 size advantage, this lens is tiny and light weight but still excellently built, but agreen with NZ Scott that it's over-priced.
