Yes, it's a Samyang!
Well, that's what we'll soon say about these excellent lenses. Crisp, sharp, very well built, the focus feels as nice as on any old high-quality lens. Some say it is heavy, and it is, compared to some modern glass with plastic barrels.
The image quality is very good, the distortion quite regular, so that it can be corrected without problems. I have made some panoramic photos in a single shot, just applying correction tools.
Samyang should continue to make MF, no-nonsense lenses, no zooms, no BS. BTW, I am not old school, or opposed to progress; I use several AF and zoom lenses, some stabilized. But a fish eye does not need AF, so why bother?
