I've got the Olympus f8 lens on the way and I am thinking of pairing with the PM-2. Would this be somewhat a waste of the sensor due to inherent weakness of the lens? I don't need critical sharpness corner to corner. I would be using without an evf attached and just for impromtu street shooting.

Thoughts from those who have done some shooting with this set up?

Thanks!

you will love it...!

though my combo now is OMD + BCL 15mm, i could put the combo in my jacket pocket.

the body cap lens let me to shoot fast, not much tinkering, just concentrating on my composition. A bit problem is when the light level is dark, you'll get harder to see on the LCD because of the f/8 stop down all the time (unlike modern design lenses with auto aperture that closed down when the shoot is taken).

Who need sharpness all the time, it's just a bourgoise concept afterall

here's one of interesting link with the BCL 15, the worst lens ranking 2872.
