Re: Don't buy E-P3

You probably want two lenses if you are into both street and portraiture. One lens for scenes, one lens for portraits and candids.

Not sure what your budget is, but the 45mm 1.8 and 75mm 1.8 are both worth a look for portraits.

I have the 17mm 1.8 lens and really enjoy it, so would recommend it as your wider lens. You can't go wrong with it or the 25mm 1.4 or the 12mm 2.0 if you like a wider look. All of these lenses have very fast auto-focus which seems essential for your needs.

The 25mm is your best bet if you really want a on-lens solution as it strikes the best focal length balance between scenes and portraits without excelling at either.

As far as bodies go, I think the comments here are accurate about choosing the camera that fits you best ergonomically. You don't need huge dynamic range or even top of the line image quality for street and portraits.

You do want to consider ISO performance, however, to keep those shutter speeds high in dim light. The E-PM2 and E-PL5 have a big advantage over the E-P3 in ISO performance.
