Just be careful.

I was on a shoot on a dry lake bed with some models. I had a similar setup as you are showing.

There was a light wind, but nothing too strong. After about a hour of shooting, a gust of wind blew the whole stand over backwards. The power cord got pushed completely into the back of my AB light, and the beauty dish was dented.

As expected, the great service department at Alien Bees repaired my light for something like $35 and it works like new. I am still using my beauty dish even with the dents.

The bad thing about this is my sand bags were safely in my car because I didn't think I would need them.

Oh I agree. With a good gust of wind it would go over. I carry some of those reusable shopping bags and a small trowel with me. If I need sandbags I simply fill them up with dirt.
