Early shots with the A57

I recently moved into the Sony and SLR world when I acquired an A57 for Christmas.

Still down the bottom of the learning curve but starting to move away from Intelligent Auto and to use S, A or P modes. I find the camera generally intuitive to use but every now and then find simple things quite obscure! (possibly the operator?)

Comments / critiques most welcome!  Also I'm generally finding the panorama images a little less 'sharp' than standard images taken at the same time - is this a focusing issue (lack of forethought as to what primary focus should be on) or just a result of blending many images?

Richard from Victoria, Australia.

Posting a few shots of SW Victoria (Australia) - comments welcome!

Tower Hill Sunset (extinct volcano)

Childer's Cove (not too far from 12 Apostiles)

Local Visitor - very noisy at night!
