X10 vs X20 - Flowers

Didn't have much time for photos today after the camera turned up: I'm down a technician at work.

However, from what I did grab I was surprised to see just how good the X20 can be on flowers.

This image seems to have the depth and realism that is also characterised in the Sigma DP Merrill series of cameras with Foveon sensors - what do you think?

First, the X20, shot in L and resized to match the X10 in M. X20 processed from RAW with the latest, disk version of RFC,

X20 at default settings - best viewed at 100%

And here is the X10, processed  from the RAW using Silkypix 5:

X10, also at default settings. View at 100% for best results.

Just this alone makes it a worthwhile upgrade for me - now if only we can do something about the noise (not particularly visible here).

For me, X-Trans in a tiny sensor is a winner!
