Oh different model from mine and others 85/1.4G then... lots of CA here, while not the purple fringing stuff, in the form of greenish/reddish stuff. Unusable in contrasty scenes with the D800E until stopped down considerably. This is the same for All the f1.4 G lenses. NOT the 200/2 though, that pretty much behaves without any optical aberations.

Resistance to flare ? nah. The 35G is pretty good at this though.

I do own the same lenses than you, but the 85G is just not impressing me so much, and I consider the Canon 85mm f1.2 L II that I also own, a much superior lens.
